Lobster Landing, Clinton


The iconic rustic lobster shack on the scenic Clinton Harbor is one of the best spots for a Connecticut style lobster roll. Enjoy a hot buttery lobster rolls, creamy calm chowder, chips and coleslaw along weathered marina and crushed seashell shoreline. Lobster Landing is a favorite for its authentic coastal charm, fresh air and delicious rolls.


Clinton is the bluefish capital of the world—so charter a boat and fish. Or enjoy shoreline walk at Hammonasset State Beach and Natural Preserve. 

 

The Place, Guilford

Fresh daily caught lobster by the pound or on toasted split buttery roll—Guildford Lobster Pound offers more than great lobster rolls, clam chowder and stuffed clams with scallops and shrimp. Its spectacular harbor views and island cruise of Faulkner Island, Grass Island and Salt Marsh offer a beautiful natural coastal experience—and bird watchers delight.


Guildford is charming historic town. Henry Whitfield State Museum is the oldest home in Connecticut and oldest stone house in New England. Bishop’s Orchards Farm & Winery is great spot for a glass of wine, apple picking or ice cream. 

 

Lobster Craft, Norwalk

One of the best lobster rolls in Connecticut and commuters dream at the historic South Norwalk Train Station, Lobster Craft offers generous chunks of the sweetest knuckle and claw meat on a perfectly toasted bun with seasoned flavor combinations. It is a good stop for someone on the run or just wanting a buttery roll. Lobster Craft also has a shop in Fairfield and operates a food truck from Maryland to Maine.

Lobster Hut, Milford

A busy boulevard is not the atmosphere imagined for a lobster roll, but this food truck delivers one of the best hot buttery lobster rolls in Connecticut and offers a variety of seafood options. Besides the outstanding rolls, try the legendary Lobster Bisque. 


Milford is the classic New England town, rich in history and traditions—and known for the Annual Oyster Festival. The Lower Lagoon Dam Falls offers a picturesque view with duck pond and white steeple church. Or enjoy sunsets and go for a walk at one of the many beaches.

 

Ford's Lobsters, Noank

On The Waterfront, New London


Traditional dining decor and dockside restaurant with amazing views of the Thames River is a local seafood favorite. And although lobster rolls are not on the menu, there are a variety of lobster dishes. The Lobster Tacos with arugula, pineapple and avocado aioli are excellent flavorful twist of summer refreshment.


Liv’s Shack, Old Saybrook

Celebrate summer with scenic views of the Connecticut River, Long Island Sound and Lynde Point Lighthouse at this marina side lobster shack. Liv’s lobster rolls are delicious and full of chucks of freshest lobster meat—for a change try the Lobster Grilled Cheese and Truffle Fries. Liv’s is also in Westbrook, CT.


Old Saybrook is one of the oldest coastal towns in Connecticut dating back to 1632. Its beaches and marinas offer beautiful sunsets—and Long Island Sound and River great fishing, sailing and scenic coves. It is a great area to explore the coastal outdoors.
